NYC In-Home and Online Guitar Lessons

Shu Odamura, an experienced music teacher and active performer, offers one-on-one guitar lessons at the student's home in the metro area, his studio in Queens, rehearsal spaces in Midtown, or anywhere in the world through virtual lessons. All ages (6+) and levels are welcome! A student concert will be held every year in November. Please feel free to contact me!

Beginner

How to choose an instrument and the essential accessories (pick, capo, chair for playing, etc.)

Basic techniques (chords, playing simple melodies, right-hand strumming)

How to play with good posture and minimal physical strain
